The shift in awareness is the first change

The shift in awareness is the first change. They say, "Change your thinking and you change the world".

I see that this is not too far from the truth when one looks at life and how sometimes without even realising it, as we focus on the materialistic or just the day-to-day activities that we often find ourselves lost in. Running from this place to the next. Not knowing when and how the day will end. Only that we think that each day will get better.

I often feel like I need to change things. Make things better here, and make things better there.

But if you take a step back though and think of your life as a whole. You can sometimes see the journey that you are taking. Every action you take, is a step toward many different directions and opportunities.

So while sometimes we can find ourselves lost in our everyday moments, no matter how challenging it may seem, I find that it is always good to remember that once you change your thinking on what you're doing, you often will change your own world and perspective.

Remember: "You may not always be able to control the world around you, but you can at the very least, control the way you feel about the world around you."
